This all cotton apron is just like the professionals wear. It comes in plain white and you can personalise it with our fabric marker pens, just like our model has. Get a grown up to iron the design to 'fix'.

The DIY Cooking Party Kits are designed so that any child anywhere in the world can have a cooking party. These are the original Cooking Party Kits, there are copycat kits out there, but none as good as the original. We put a lot of care and attention into these kits to make sure that they are tailored to your and your child's requirements. Parties are so important to children of all ages we want to make sure they are great fun and as easy as possible for you to run. We have sent these kits out all over the world so we know they work.

All you have to provide is grown ups to run the party and the ingredients to cook. The recipes will include a savoury, a sweet (usually cakes or biscuits) and something to take home in their Party Bags. All Splat boxes are priced per child and include:

• White Cotton - Basic package plus white cotton Chef's aprons (washable) and fabric dye pens. For best results, we suggest you let the designs dry for a few minutes before ironing to fix. As soon as we have your order we'll contact you to discuss recipe options and your choice of sprinkles, cake cases and cookie cutters. We have standard recipes matched to the age and likely cooking abililties of the child having the Birthday party. If there are any special requests we'd be happy construct a mix of recipes especially for you. We can also tailor the recipes to cater for food allergies, intolerances, likes and dislikes.

We also do seasonal parties such as Christmas, Easter and Halloween with seasonal recipes and we are happy to put together themed parties like Fairy Party, Harry Potter Party, Scooby Doo Party using themed recipes, cookie cutters and sprinkles.

PLEASE NOTE we usually need approximatey 10 working days to put the party together for you as these are written individually for each party, if you need a kit urgently please let us know as time of order, also we DO NOT include ingredients in the kit, we do provide the ingredients list so you can do the shopping. If you would like us to email over this and the How To Guide before we send the kit off please let us know. Once we have sent over the How to Guide and Ingredients List NO REFUND will be given.

The ultimate Cooking Party. We bring all the ingredients, utensils and party kit, we entertain the children and help them make their own lunch or tea (so you don't have to do any catering or running around), you sit back with a nice glass of wine or cup of tea and watch the children have a great time learning about food, ingredients and cooking techniques.All you need to provide is the venue, the children, drinks for the children and a birthday cake if they children aren't making it at the party.

Whilst the children are eating the food they have just made we sort out the party bags (the children make something to take home in their party bag too) and clear up the food preparation area. We're currently focused on Southern and South East England, London and the Home Counties and soon to be expanding into Derbyshire and the Midlands, but are growing our network of Party organisers so please Contact Us if you'd like us to run it for you.

We will also adapt one of our workshops such as Fantasy Fairy Cakes or Edible Christmas Pressies or Mini Gingerbread Houses instead of running a traditional cooking party and the children will take home a box of lovely goodies. Splat Parties include:

The menus are tailored to the age of the birthday boy or girl and we'll discuss these at the time of booking, please let us know if any children have allergies or specific dietary requirement and we can adapt the menus to suit. We use good quality ingredients, fair trade and organic where feasible, high cocoa content couverture chocolate, free range eggs always (we like happy chickens) and avoid the use of hydrogenated vegetables oils and fats where possible. We offer standard menus or healthier versions using more fruit and vegetables, eg. blackurrant muffins instead of chocolate fairy cakes. If you wish the children can make the birthday cake too, there is an additional cost of £12.50 for this.

If you would like to include aprons for the children to use at the party and take home you can upgrade to our white cotton apron, which the children can decorate at the party, for an additional £4.95 per apron or if you'd like them embroidered with the child's name this will be an additional £10.95 per cotton apron. Please note that for the apron decorating we will add on an additional 30 minutes at the beginning of the party for the children to decorate their aprons and there will a charge of £12 in addition to the apron price

Please call us for availability before booking, once we have agreed the time and date we will take a £50 deposit and send you out 20 x invitations, one week before the party we will confirm the number of children and the outstanding amount will be payable. All our Party Organisers hold a current CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety as well as completing our own training course. Beverley and Alison also hold Advanced Food Hygiene Certificates. They are Police Checked and have full insurance for cooking with children. Depending on your location there may be a mileage charge, we will discuss this with you at the time of booking and do our best to allocate the closest party organisers possible
